Multimedia Journalism
When words alone fail, mixed media steps in.
I reported and produced weekly audio new stories to Uptown Radio: a live radio newsroom that operates out of the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. I gained experience pitching stories, reporting enterprise and day stories with a TAS-CAM audio recorder, levelling audio, editing tape on Pro Tools, and directing, sound mixing and hosting on a weekly live radio show.
I also have experience conducting “person on the street” vertical video projects for the Forward and Shtetl: The Haredi Free Press. These projects have earned thousands of views on Instagram, TikTok and X. I also love working with photography, data and other mixed media in my reporting. The only medium I don’t know is the Long Island one!

We produced three vertical videos for the Forward’s social media pages, which gained over 6,000 views.
Video Project: What does New York’s Haredi community expect from Trump in 2025?
For the publication Shtetl, my colleague Emma Paidra and I travelled to Williamsburg, Crown Heights and Borough Park in Brooklyn to ask New York’s Haredi community what they expect from the incoming Trump administration. We discussed topics like U.S. support for Israel, Trump’s handling of the border and policies surrounding the privatization of education, which we also accompanied with a written piece.
